Born near the sunny Amalfi Coast and raised between Italy and the UK, I’ve dedicated over 20 years to the creative industries. My journey started with a passion for design, passed down from my father, and has evolved into a career that blends creativity, innovation, and sustainability.

CURRENT EXPERIENCE IN ACADEMIA
As Global Head of the Communication & Design Discipline and Associate Professor at Heriot-Watt University, I lead multidisciplinary teams across UK and Dubai campuses, shaping inclusive, future-focused learning environments that empower students and staff alike. I’m passionate about bridging academia and industry through interdisciplinary teaching, mentorship, and research. My work explores how emerging technologies intersect with traditional creative practices to drive innovation, especially Generative AI and Extended Reality (XR).
